2008 Silver Seal Certified

   In February 2007, The Kern Association of Health Underwriters was one of four Chapters throughout the United States to receive NAHU’s Chapter Silver Seal Certification. KAHU received this award for excellence by a minimum of six of the nine requirements in the following areas:

• Establishing a full Board inclusive of (President, President Elect, Secretary, Treasurer,
• Membership/Retention Chair, Legislative Chair and Education Chair)                           
• Maintaining Updated Bylaws                                        
• Participation in State PAC                                              
• Conducted required Membership meetings                        
• Developing a Strategic Plan                                           
• Maintaining a Chapter Budget                                          
• Increase in Net Membership                                                
• Board HUPAC contributions at Triple Crown Level

Again in February 2008, KAHU was again awarded the Silver Seal making it on of only 8 chapters in the country to do so.

This Silver Seal Certification proves KAHU is an excelling chapter committed to striving for success in the field of Health Underwriting and Making It Happen in 2008.
